Callum wanted to simplify and expand the driveway at his semi-detached home in Gravesend, Kent to accommodate both his every day and work vehicles.
When we visited Callum to provide a free estimate it was clear he was interested in a resin bound gravel, which would provide a durable and level surface for the entire driveway. The current driveway could only fit one of his vehicles due to the old and overgrown planting beds, and he required a dedicated space to park both his car and van.
Finding out more about our work as we spoke he asked us to also create a new resin bound gravel path alongside the house and to install new fencing.
We got to work removing the old block paving and planting beds, and then built up a sturdy and permeable foundation for the new driveway.
Once the new block edging was set down a layer of tarmac was applied to serve as a smooth surface for the installation of the resin bound gravel on the driveway and side path. With the resin bound gravel carefully set in place we installed the new fencing.
Callum now has a long lasting and low maintenance resin-bound driveway with greatly expanded space, with a matching side-path and additional privacy and security through his brand new fencing.
